I don't understand why DC is being ranked so high, unless you consider museums exciting.
It depends on your perspective...I do consider museums exciting, and a lot of other people do as well. Add to that the excitement of historical buildings/sites/monuments, and D.C. is a pretty exciting city.

Different strokes for different folks, I'm guessing you are in the minority though
Here's another meaningless list to peruse on your Friday but I thought this was one pretty interesting due to the ranking of the cities chosen and the criteria listed. I've been to all the cities except Oakland, Seattle, Milwaukee, Atlanta and Portland, although I'm visiting Atlanta this Month. Strangely, Oakland, Seattle and Portland are also on my list to visit soon. I'm a fan of all the cities on this list but Chicago, LA, Miami, Houston seem to be the most notable missing.
Milwaukee always seemed like a cool city to me but I admit I'm a little surpised to see it on here. The list seems to be heavily East/West Coast biased. Thoughts?

2. Boston
3. San Francisco
4. Seattle

How in the world did Oakland, Portland, and Milwaukee end up on there? There are "more exciting" cities out there. LA, Chicago, and Miami to name a few.
