How can this poll be legit w/out Alaska being a choice? No states mountains are as beautiful and majestic as that states.

Alaska

Nevada
Arizona

Texas

Anyone who doesn't say Alaska hasn't been there or doesn't know what they are talking about. The top 10 highest mountains in the US are all located in Alaska. 6 of the 10 most prominent mountains, including the most, are located in Alaska. More than half of the ultra prominent peaks (greater than 1500 m of prominence) are located in Alaska.

They're too lazy to use search google images. Do that for the Brooks Range, the Aleutian Islands, etc and they would be sorely wrong. Not a single state compares to Alaska, I'd argue the SE Arm of the state alone is better than most Western states even.
