I'm looking to relocate to a city with good employment opportunitis, low cost of living, that's clean with low crime and a moderate climate (not too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter). Which one of these cities do you think would be best? I'm a 29 year old single white male.
Well all 3 aren't going to completely satisfy you weather wise. Pittsburgh has cold winters but nice spring&summer weather. Omaha has cold winters but not too bad but it does get quite warm and muggy in the summer. Salt Lake City has cold winters and warm (sometimes hot) summers. Pittsburgh is the only one I would choose. The other two arent even on its level. It is the biggest of the three if we're counting the entire metro area. Pretty cool sports town and being 29&single I think you will enjoy it and it's not far at all to other major cities. Omaha is Omaha I mean you should visit first and see if you like it. It's definitely not for everybody. Now if you're an outdoors person then SLC wins hands down. The outdoor recreation is endless. The mountains around the city are awesome and the skiing in the winter is top notch(I heard I don't ski). And of course you have the Great Salt Lake right there. Sure there's a lot of Mormons but I think it's overhyped I mean who cares. SLC is very isolated though. The closest major city is Denver which is 8hrs away, Phoenix is 12 hrs away, Boise is like 5.5 hrs away, and Vegas is like 6.5 hrs away.
