I would like for everyone to evaluate if Vancouver or Seattle can beat or match what SF offers as a tourists destination. Criteria....

Architecture
Downtown
Culture
Entertainment
Events
Food - Pricing and Diversity
Landmarks
Museums
Natural Beauty
Neighborhoods - Urban and suburban
Nightlife
Parks
Safety
Shopping
Shows
Sports
Uniqueness
Urbanity

Please feel free to add in Any other criteria except for cost of living or economy. Remember this is for a vacation.

In a nutshell no lol.. I'd say all three are naturally beautiful though I have to bias Vancouver as being the most beautiful. Aside from that - I think in practically every other criteria S.F is in a tier greater than Seattle or Vancouver as a tourist and interesting urban destination to visit. If we get into QOL for residents than the argument changes but that is not what we are talking about here.

That is relative.. Its a great tourist destination but the world is a big place and when you travel to places like NYC, Bangkok, London, Paris, Madrid, Istanbul, Tokyo, Cairo, Buenos Aires, Rio De Janeiro, Rome etc etc I think it is harder to rank S.F in the top ten imo and this is just stating urban travel destinations let alone others.

have you been to any other city other than Denver and S.F? Seriously ranking S.F in the ranks of London, NYC, Paris, Bangkok, Cairo, Istanbul etc etc as a tourist destination is somewhat laughable.

I would think SF would bring in more tourists.

In the case of Istanbul and Bangkok you would be decidedly wrong. Not sure about B.A
