After the big three of NYC, LA, and the Bay Area it seems DC, Houtson, and Boston are fighting for the fourth spot for overall diversity. Miami's small Asian population is a mark against its diversity IMHO. I would also put Chicago and Dallas in the running for the fourth spot as well.

Big cities only:

NYC
SF (concentration places it above LA in my opinion)
LA (would be #2, but some ethnic areas are more isolated)

DC
Chicago
Miami
Seattle

Houston
Boston
Dallas
Atlanta
Denver
Minneapolis
San Diego

Orlando
Hartford (above Philly due to concentration and smaller size)
Providence (above Philly due to concentration and smaller size)
Philadelphia
Detroit
Tampa
San Antonio
Phoenix
Tucson
Denver
Austin
Jacksonville
Charlotte
Nashville

Everyone else (Louisville, Indy, SLC, Omaha, etc are all super caucasian white, or basically just black and white).

^^ Interesting. I'd put Houston in that same list with Seattle, Miami, DC, and Chicago.

Seattle is less diverse than Houston, or Dallas or Atlanta for that matter. Also putting Denver and Minneapolis with Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston doesn't fit.

Not true jello, Seattle wipes the floor with Dallas and Atlanta for diversity. Look at the facts amigo!

You should look at the facts. Apparently, you haven't. Ill be happy to correct you (source ACS):

Greater Atlanta:

White: 50%
Black: 32.3%
Hispanic: 10.6%
Asian: 5.1%

Dallas/Fort Worth:

White: 49%
Hispanic: 28%
Black: 15%
Asian: 5.7%

Seattle/Tacoma:

White: 66.9%
Asian: 11.6%
Hispanic: 9.3%
Black: 5.4%

Now lets look at international immigration from 2012:

Total Immigration:

Dallas: 28,010
Atlanta: 21,289
Seattle: 17,644

Broken down by region:

Asia:

Dallas: 11,665
Seattle: 10,104
Atlanta: 9,087

Africa:

Atlanta: 4,538
Dallas: 4,208
Seattle: 2,797

Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean:

Dallas: 9,900
Atlanta: 4,241
Seattle: 1,767

Europe:

Seattle: 2,252
Atlanta: 1,436
Dallas: 1,128

South America:

Atlanta: 1,923
Dallas: 1,238
Seattle: 401

If you're going to talk trash, it helps to back it up with something Lunatic. Seattle does not match Atlanta and especially not Dallas when it comes to diversity.

Yes, I am well aware of that and Dallas and Atlanta still come out ahead. They both have larger immigrant communities than Seattle and from a wider variety of countries. They both also get more international immigrants than Seattle does. Hell, Dallas gets more immigrants from Asia than Seattle does.

Get some facts before you come back to me. Otherwise you just talking clueless trash.

Dallas and Atlanta are more diverse than Seattle. Period.

LOL, thanks for posting the main four races and their percentages. Yeah, you really showed me with those stats. (Sarcasm)

You realize there are all types of ethnicities, languages spoken, religions, sexual orientation, etc in what truly defines diversity. Correct? By only posting the four percentages is for ppl who truly do not know the meaning of diversity.

A country or city can possibly be the most diverse in the entire world with everyone labeled as you call as it just "white". The stats posted were meaningless and laughable!

Ok, so post some stats to prove me wrong. Im sorry, but as far as multiculturalism is concerned there are no stats that will show Seattle as more diverse than Atlanta or Dallas unless we just isolate the Asian population. Overall, it just won't happen.

Don't just talk trash. Any yahoo can do that. Show some actual worth and bring data. Otherwise, you're just telling everyone you can't be taken seriously. Ive shown data that has Atlanta and Dallas as more racially balanced, having larger immigrant communities, gaining larger immigrant communities, etc. Now its your turn...
