South Padre isnt bad, but I'd put it a notch below Gulf Shores, Alabama. Which I consider very good as a beach. Its not Hawaii, Florida, SoCal or the Caribbean for sure.

If Texas advertised itself as a trendy beach state, much like all the other states in this list, then people would see how beautiful South Padre Island is. The beach on that Island has turquoise blue water, with white sand.

Those pictures are real, not photo-shopped. You can even see plenty of videos that show that SPI obviously has blue water and white sand (well, maybe light brown, but still good).
The pictures and numbers speak for themselves. Not to mention that the Texas weather is just the worst out of all on the list.
You just showed that South Padre Island is comparable with the other beaches in those states, especially with the first picture. The ONLY thing that could POSSIBLY make South Padre less beautiful is the lack of landscaping with palms, but the water and sand is still good enough for it to compare with the beaches in those states.
South Texas weather is like that of a humid, subtropical paradise, just as Southern California is like that of a Mediterranean paradise, and South Florida and Hawaii are like that of tropical paradises.
The water in SPI is nowhere near as beautiful as many beaches of Florida and SoCal, and it can't compare to the clarity of the Caribbean or Hawaii. The sand is more of an orange than a white color. SPI's water looks more grey-brown when you look at most pictures, especially at the second picture I posted of it. Like everywhere, it has its good days where it looks blue. But for the most part, it's murky and ugly, especially in comparison to the beach states mentioned above and the Caribbean.

False. The water of South Padre is, more often than not, a turquoise blue color. The sand may be off white, but that's okay, the water is blue. That is why it is a spring break hot spot.
Still isn't anywhere as close to being clear like FL, HI and the Caribbean.
It may not but that is your own opinion. SPI is still a very beautiful area, and it's not just for partiers but it also for nature lovers as well. Did you know that Padre Island is one of the longest barrier Islands in the world? I would advise you to actually make a visit to the Island instead of complaining " Well it can't compete with the rest!"
