You could say that about every single state, even Alaska. I am sure the majority of murders in Alaska or a large percentage occur in Anchorage. It is part of the state, that is what happens. .........................
You can. I guess my point was that if someone looks just at the numbers, without knowing anything else, then the impression one gets is that the entire state has an issue. Which you see repeated on these on these Forums time after time.
The thing I find interesting is that the state of Mississippi has the second highest murder rate (excluding D.C.), but it actually has one of the lowest VIOLENT crime rates in the country. It has a rate of 2.70 violent crimes per 1,000 people. That's lower than Colorado (which is 3.20 violent crimes per 1,000)
Russia is a pretty messed up country. Communism screwed it up economically pretty bad, and its still pretty bad in a lot of places. There is a lot of corruption in government, a lot of organized crime, a lot of poverty.
And the caucuses.
I would love to see this map broken down to a more local level (perhaps county by county).
