That is only one scene. Not everyone has the opportunity to work in a environment of just entertainors. That is where New york city comes in because new york city is rich and diverse in different scenes in the nightlife including celebs.

where do you get this idea from? stop looking to live in downtown/midtown Manhattan and you wont have to worry about roommates. i knew a bartender in the city who made close to 80k a year. She has her own apartment in a nice area in queens and bought a brand new car her first year on the job.

I've known service industry people in Atlanta who made SIX figures ... and you can live REALLY GOOD in ATL on six figures!

Bartender salary would go further in Atlanta. Because the cost of living is cheaper here.

you could live here in my old building on that salary just look at the photos . Not in NY
