Why was Boston excluded? Downtown Boston is as livable (or more so) as the rest.

Philadelphia definitely first. After that, it's a toss up between Lower Manhattan, San Francisco and Portland.

I would definitely put Vancouver as a choice if this extends into Canada

Did you exclude Boston from the poll on purpose or was that just an oversight? I think most people would agree that Boston has one of the nicest, most livable downtowns in the US.

He also excluded Manhattan... while most people may not consider it the most liveable due to the congestion it is certainly considered eh number 1 downtown.

No Boston?

DT Boston is definitely very livable, especially in terms of parks, transportation, safety, and attractions. Food's good too!

Most livable

Manhattan
Chicago
Portland
Denver
San Diego
Philadelphia

*Note: I didn't include Dt. Seattle since it's such as problematic downtown with crime and other social issues. As For San Francisco, it's not yet a livable downtown since there aren't many housing downtown but getting some as we speak.
