Eli Manning just wants to live near work. lol
No, Eli Manning wants to live in a nice, popular place with a great location that's one of the best cities in New Jersey right now. The nightlife is great and its location even greater. Hoboken isn't the only nice place in New Jersey near Giants stadium (sorry - Metlife). It's also an area for the more upper middle class and above.

it is probably ok for the rich and famous who live right on the Hudson and can afford to pay more than what it is worth.

Thanks Native Americans! Really though - I love saying names of NJ towns/cities, mountains, rivers, etc. They're fun.
