Motormaker is referring to largest county by land area, while you're thinking of population size, goonsta. Counties are not all created equal, some states don't have any, some states don't have county governments, etc., etc. It's inaccurate to have a real comparison between counties of different state, but if county statistics make you happy, go ahead and argue over them, just make your own thread.

Well it doesnt matter because whether by CSA or MSA, LA and SF are both ahead of NY as far as percentage and LA beats NY at city, MSA and CSA level.

So yeah...

Anyway NYC metro are has a larger foreign born population. The thread asked for who has more internationals, not who has a bigger percentage. Even by your metrics, you're still providing the wrong answer to this poll.
Yes, but the population of NYC is not more International than the population of LA because LA has a larger proportion(i.e. PERCENTAGE) of foreigners than NYC.

Period.

California has over 38 million people and Los Angeles County is the largest county with 10 million people.

According to census bureau estimates, California's population has already grown by 1 million since 2010.

Who is arguing that NYC metro has a a higher percentage of foreign borns than LA or SF metros? NO-ONE! The point is that you have a tendency to bring up different, irrelevant metrics or statistics to make your point. If city statistics aren't what you want them to be, you'll use MSA even if no-one asked for it. If MSA statistics don't agree with your claims, you'll declare CSA statistics as more relevant, even, if again, no-one asks for them. In this case, since the answer to the question of the poll doesn't suite your liking, you start talking about population percentage, even though it's irrelevant to the poll. Again, the poll asked who has more internationals, not who has a higher percentage of internationals.

Yeah, so I dont really care about incessant whining tho.

However you may continue if that's what you need to feel better but it's meaningless to me.

Anything else?

You're so funny. No one is whining Montclair. It's just funny to me how you love to bring in statistics or other information no one asked for.

No one asked you which metric is being used the most to determine a simple question.
