Atlanta has a bigger "NOTICE IN THE INDUSTRY THAN ANY CITY IN THE U.S." like come on here...All the Hip-Hop/Rap and entertainment is here in Atlanta....Atlanta has atleast 35+ Major rappers that are "KNOWN" in the world....that's not including singers ....IN THE INDUSTRY...Chicago has about 10 majors Rappers that are known....I dont recall anymore NYC present rappers right now nor L.A......ATLANTA IS THE TOP MUSIC INDUSTRY....AND YOU CAN EASILY GET KNOWN OFF ONE STUPID SONG/DANCE FOR EXAMPLE THE ""NAE NAE""
You don't recall anyone from LA??? LOL Where the hell you been dawg!?

And shoutout to the new LA R&B giants too! My girl Jhene Aiko, Tinashe, and Miguel. I love the new LA sound Special shoutout from the East Coast/DMV! Mustard on the Beat *%#
Well realistically Pusha T isn't from VA, he's from the Bronx but eh repoed va hard when he came out years back.
Since I personally know people from here who are friends with Pusha T I can say he is proud to be a NY/Va representer.
But Pusha t alone can't just make hamptons roads relevant.
Push is a Beach Boy. His dad from TN and his mom from Norfolk. He probably barely went to kindergarten in the Bronx. He grew up out the Beach man. That is not NY "swag" on display with him.
And the 7 Cities-HR BEEN relevant. Most of Jay Z whole catalog of major hits came from either Tim/Missy or Pharrel/Neptunes. Nottz Raw, Bink, Danja, Lex Luger producers of every genere pushing envelopes.
Not to mention AI...if it wont for everybody trynna get AIs Georgetown jersey and the 90s Sixers jersey...all that whole throwback era for Mitchell n Ness would've been non existing. Dude a cultural icon. Not to mention his style of play. Vick too.
As far as fashion we BEEN in the building...whether people knew it or not. A lot of stuff people thought came from somewhere else came from here. But as far as "documented" clothing lines...for their day...Azzure, Akademiks, RP55(wack), Indigo Red, PlayCloths, Black Label (short run), and BBC/Ice Cream all made big noise. Im sure Im forgetting some. People who know whats what know wassup, those who don't, don't.
