Since I personally know people from here who are friends with Pusha T I can say he is proud to be a NY/Va representer.

But Pusha t alone can't just make hamptons roads relevant.
Push is a Beach Boy. His dad from TN and his mom from Norfolk. He probably barely went to kindergarten in the Bronx. He grew up out the Beach man. That is not NY "swag" on display with him.

And the 7 Cities-HR BEEN relevant. Most of Jay Z whole catalog of major hits came from either Tim/Missy or Pharrel/Neptunes. Nottz Raw, Bink, Danja, Lex Luger producers of every genere pushing envelopes.

Not to mention AI...if it wont for everybody trynna get AIs Georgetown jersey and the 90s Sixers jersey...all that whole throwback era for Mitchell n Ness would've been non existing. Dude a cultural icon. Not to mention his style of play. Vick too.

As far as fashion we BEEN in the building...whether people knew it or not. A lot of stuff people thought came from somewhere else came from here. But as far as "documented" clothing lines...for their day...Azzure, Akademiks, RP55(wack), Indigo Red, PlayCloths, Black Label (short run), and BBC/Ice Cream all made big noise. Im sure Im forgetting some. People who know whats what know wassup, those who don't, don't.
