Nor is it from Atlanta. There is no rivalry, just a shared very large population of Tri State transplants here along with a ton of business conducted between the two.

There's a reason there are more than 50 flights a day each way between NY/Newark & Atlanta.

The older cities of Chicago and NYC comes to mind. Food/pizza, cosmpolitaness, high rises, big city feel are some of things they compete with
