I'm partial to Philly, Atlanta, Denver (Never been, but it's a fine looking city. I must go out there for a trip soon...for "sightseeing".), and Chicago.

Don't really care for the Oakland and Honolulu, but I do know they have more to offer. There's no getting away from the odd beast aspect of Oakland. I do suppose that's part of the charm.

Judging strictly by the streetviews posted in the OP:

1a: Chicago
1b: Philadelphia

For me what puts Chicago ever so slightly ahead is greater diversity in building design (Philly's rowhomes can be a bit repetitive, Chicago breaks it up more) and more lush vegetation in Chicago.

2. Denver
3. Oakland

I like the Denver architecture in those views slightly more than the Oakland architecture, and the neighborhoods just like nicer overall in Denver (less fences, better trees, less weeds). In one of those views there is what looks like a little corner store in the middle of a SFH neighborhood, which I think is really cool - though it looks like it is vacant in the streetview, that is a bummer.

There's very little consistency in Chicago, its like one of those mix and match games where the answers are scrambled. Its full of buildings native to Chicago (or the Great Lakes), but the buildings are all over the place. Somehow it all comes together, but it can be off putting to some also.

Yeah, I like it. Of course, I live in LA which is the king of scrambled residential architecture so I guess it makes sense.

I do like the never-ending streetwall feel of the Philly neighborhoods, which is a big part of why it is 1b. It just feels very intimate.

Sorry about that I just thought I'd give Honolulu's residential streets a spotlight since it feels like we rarely here much about that city's built environment on City vs. City other than the beaches, seafood, tropical climate/flora, mountains, etc.

I liked the first picture in Philadelphia. It looks like Europe. Very interesting look.
I also liked Denver. It looked clean and relatively green, whichj came as a surprise to me.

Honolulu..... I was expecting better street views and it kinda looked dumpy and architecture circa 1970. Not really a whole lot of charm to the streets and houses, needless to say I'm not talking about it's breathtaking natural beauty, but it's streets look ugly IMO.

Atlanta? meh.

Chicago? ehh, it reminded me of Philly

I'm a highrise person so Chicago for me since it has more of them as an alternative followed by Honolulu. I like looking up at them from street level along with views of both city and waterfront from up above. As for row houses Philly and for highrises Chicago followed by Honolulu.
