Texas' latest plate is very colorful & has grown on me. I was used to the old one, but population here in the Lone Star State has increased so much we had to add an extra number for a total of 7 to accommodate all of the registered vehicles on the road.

I like Ohio's current ones with the sunburst in the back ground with the sun coming up behind the Appalachian hills.

I have read that it will be our new one, but if the current one that I have seen that has been sold to almost 1 million drivers across the state becomes reality, well hell, that's one of the worst then. It looks too Iowa to me.

I always thought Pennsylvania's license plates looked classy, and pretty easily recognizable.

Among states with more graphics, I like Nebraska's best because it has the state of Nebraska on it, and I've always thought that Nebraska is shaped funny.

Massachusetts':

White plate, numbers/letters in red, the words Massachusetts (on top) and either Preserve the Trust or the Spirit of America (on the bottom) in blue

simple, poignant and very American.

Our old plates were better with the Statue of Liberty, but I love our plates with the Appalachian mountains and the city skyline.
