I find it amazing that I havenot said anything bad about Ohio other than the truth.
Yet so many of the Ohio posters resort to attacking cultures,race etc..
Someone please quote me where I have said anything that was absolutely not true like some Ohio posters have said about Georgia.
I have even agreed about somethings like poverty because it was true:Poverty in Ohio is easier than it is in Georgia.Georgia does a terrible job at assisting its poor.
When its true,I have no problem admitting it.We all choose where we want to be based on what we need in our lives.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that and I would never attack anyone for making decisions that are best for their life.
I still will not resort to trashing Ohio like some of you are doing with GA.Its just not right

I live 30 miles from the Smoky mountains which are 6600 feet high. I have heard many a westerner in here say they are not real mountains but I disagree. The base (flat land east of the mountains) of the Rockies in CO sit at around 6000-7000 feet in altitude. The peaks reach 14k foot, so the mountain rises 7000-8000 feet from the base. The base of the smokies is around 1000 feet and they rise to 6500 feet or about a 5500 foot increase from base to peak. They are smaller but not by as much as westerners often suggest they are. In fact they are quite impressive, and I can see them from where I live over 30 miles away. The mountains in Georgia are a bit smaller than ours in Tennessee are but they are still impressive and beautiful. Ohio has nothing close to what Georgia has as far as interesting landscape. I would pick Georgia in a heartbeat. The only thing I hold against Georgia is Atlanta's traffic problems, other than that its a nice state.
Not to mention he is wrong anyway.
Its not like as there is no general excepted definition of what a mountain is versus what is a hill.
Ohio has HILLS.Georgia has a mountains.
The highest point in Ohio is just over 1500 ft and Georgia highest points is over 4700 ft
A mountain is:Whittow's Dictionary of Physical Geography[2] states "Some authorities regard eminences above 600 m (2,000 ft) as mountains, those below being referred to as hills.

You can post whatever article you want, doesn't change facts. Atlanta is only 15% Asian and Hispanic. The only minority living prosperous lives in Atlanta are AA's. Asians and Hispanics COMBINED only equal 15% of the MSA population, which is a joke. They are not interested in Atlanta because they would be oppressed.
I get the feeling you've never spent more than a few minutes at most in Metro Atlanta or else you would feel pretty absurd making a lot of the statements you are. All of these towns are in Metro Atlanta. These stats via City Data.

I obviously prefer Georgia over Ohio, but part of that is because this is where I'm from. In this thread we have people in Boston and San Francisco as the main antagonists, and a Georgian or two that are letting them get under their skin. Just relax. I'm sure there are great things in Ohio.
A word of advice though. Georgia has a lot more to offer than Atlanta. There is a tendency for those transplants "Inside the Perimeter" to be wary of other parts of the state. We don't bite.

Sometimes the truth is not what people want to hear.
No one is definitely getting under my skin.Ive been more than civil so no need for me to be upset abou anything..
I have made a few statements of agreement when Ohio best GA in certain things.
However that does not seem to be enough for some people.
