Was someone actually arguing that Seattle is more diverse, in any respect, than DFW? Now that's funny! It reminds of this guy I worked with in Boulder who said that Colorado is the most diverse place imaginable....
People love to speak before they know what they're talking about. Peoples first reaction is: "I like Seattle better, so its better than Dallas at everything.". Of course thats absurd. Seattle does have areas where its superior to Dallas, diversity is definitely not one of them.

People move to Dallas for work and they move to Seattle to live life.

Well you and several others did say that Seattle wins everything except COL. "Everything" would seem to include diversity. Just saying.

Seattle is more diverse in personality and interests. DFW has a lot of group-think and a lot of keeping up with the Jones. The race of people is t important to me. I'm Asian and I can't stand it when people like you put me in some Asian category as if it's what defines me.
Even though I chose Seattle myself I'm starting to get the feeling a few people might not have stepped foot in Texas let alone Dallas. Lot of stereotypes being thrown around.
