Which city (Dallas vs Denver vs Seattle) would be best to move to? Major factors include good public schools, cost of living, safety, cleanliness, and access to entertainment. Family of four.

All three can work, this is how I would rate them:

Schools: 1. Seattle (slightly in the city) 2. Denver 3. Dallas
COL: 1. Dallas 2. Denver 3. Seattle
Safety: 1. Seattle 2. Denver 3. Dallas
Cleanliness: 1a. Seattle 1b. Denver 2. Dallas
Entertainment: 1. Seattle 2. Dallas 3. Denver this is a toss up though due to where you physically live whether in the city or suburbs

I would say Seattle is a good choice pending on where in the city you want to live and which category weighs most important

I'm thinking a suburb of any of the cities would be best. But within 15-20 minute commute.

What is your budget for houses? South of Seattle has same good affordable suburbs while east of Seattle costs more but have some of the best public schools in the country and crime is almost non existent in many of the areas like Bellevue, Kirkland, sammamish, mercer island, Redmond.

Seattle is the top choice except that it will be rather expensive. Eastern suburbs are wonderful for families except you'll need to qualify for a 400-500K+ mortgage, which can be hard for a lot of families. South Seattle you can probably find a house for 300-400K, but the schools aren't as good as Eastern suburbs.

Hoping to spend no more than $350k on a home. Does that not really put us in a good neighborhood with good schools for Seattle?

tough match up here.

Denver has good weather is sunny, lower cost of living, taxes aren't too bad, etc.

Seattle is more overcast, higher cost of living, taxes?

Dallas is hot as hell in the summer, not as nice imo, but has great food, and low COL.....

tough one. Boils more down to preference in my opinion. I would choose Denver/Seattle for cooler weather and probably go with whichever one offered more money for a job.

It kind of a toss up. It's should but you in a fairly decent neighborhood south Seattle. The commute will probably be between 20-30 minutes to downtown though but it will be worth it. The cities of Des Moines, Burien, Federal Way, and Auburn are affordable with mixed schools. Renton area has decent schools and is alot closer to the city.

A Seattle suburb with a 15-20 mins commute to DT on a budget of 350k? When is the commute? If it's during regular hours (9-5)/rush... then you should look at your other options as traffic sucks. I live south of Seattle, almost 14 miles away and it'll take me about 40 mins to Seattle DT; the suburbs mentioned (Des Moines, Auburn, Federal Way) will take longer. The part of Renton that has good to excellent schools is in the Eastern portion, commute will also take much longer than 15-20 mins. Burien schools are so-so to average, but will be the easier commute out of the suburbs mentioned (though 20 mins might be pushing it during rush). Normandy Park which is nestled between Burien and Des Moines would be a much better option as it has better schools.
