Here is the list:

https://www.thrillist.com/travel/nat...tractions-2019

Is this a good list, or just the usual buzzy cities showing off buzzy things? What is the coolest things to open in your city in 2019? Please make it a small paragraph like in this list, or else comment on the things listed in these cities. To be honest, as a frequent visitor of several cities on the list, I can think of cooler things than what is listed, but it is indeed an interesting list....

As these projects move along I believe the ones below are the most transformative for downtown Boston

None of those seem terribly exciting. The art museum in Asheville will be a great addition. Personally, I'm looking forward to a new roller coaster at Six Flags considering we have season passes.

Time Out markets are also coming to NY, Chicago, Miami and Montreal.

Hudson Yards looks cool.

I know they focus on America, but the forgot cool stuff in the U.S and Canada.

1. So they have Maxx Force on the list but should've added Yukon Striker. Yukon Striker is opening up at Canada's Wonderland and will be the worlds largest, tallest, fastest dive coaster.
2. Forgot Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Coaster (I can't believe they chose that name). Another coaster for the Harry Potter world at Islands of Adventure.
3. For food halls, Montreal is getting 3-4 this year, including one with 50+ restaurants. That's in addition to TimeOut and another one opening at PVM. They also didn't mention one of our big festivals.
4. Copperhead strike at Carowinds or Steel Curtain at Kennywood should be on the list but aren't.

Nashville is opening the nmaam.

https://www.nmaam.org/

Food halls are opening in almost every city from Jackson Mississippi to New York City. Food halls give tourists the chance to really catch the flavor of a city or neighborhood when in a new place. Food halls will probably be the next big thing.

Considering they're opening everywhere and most cities already have them wouldn't it seem they already are the next big thing?

Yes.

I do believe that the trend will continue upward.

Definitely.

I would go beyond tourists and argue that for many locals, especially in cities that are considered to be pricier, food hall options provide an affordable, yet still very good, alternative to expensive sit-down dining. There are three more off the top of my head that I know of that are opening here in Boston in addition the ones we already have.

Ottawa's opening a light rail / light metro line that's going to connect with its current single line, the regional rail station, the major public research university, a couple of major shopping centers, the downtown area where many businesses and the seat of Canada's federal government is, and quite a few neighborhoods.
