Since these three cities seems like they took the most hit and beatings on the "Most fun/boring city" thread I created. I felt that I have to make a thread on these 3 cities...Which city is more fun? Rank them..

Dallas vs. Phoenix vs. San Jose

You seem like a cool guy...I'm sure the party will follow you even to the middle of the middle of nowhere.

Kinda like Coachella
or like Stagecoach
or like Burning Man
or like Bonnaroo

I'd pick San Jose, but not on its own strength. I actually found it to be one of the most dull cities I've ever been to. With that said its location is far preferable to me than Phoenix or Dallas. With Monterey and Big Sur a day trip to the south and San Francisco a day trip to the north, San Jose wins this one running way for me.

Gotta give it to San Jose. Monterey Bay and San Francisco within an hour drive is tough to beat. But if we're talking on the city's own merit my nod goes to Dallas ever so slightly.

Phoenix and Dallas are the focus cities in their regions, San Jose is not.
