I am not really sure, it almost could be any of these cities. Texas is a big state and I have never been in most of these cities.

Was guessing it might be El Paso or even Laredo. I decided to vote for "other" for Amarillo.

It seems the city vs city forum is operating under the same misconceptions that the Texas forum did in a similar poll by the same OP.

Make no mistake about it, there is no more Texan city than Houston. The history and economy of Houston have made this state what it is. I understand that other areas of the state are more willing to perform the media song and dance that you crave, but please do not mistake a desperate need for attention with being more Texan.

Or perhaps you are the one incapable of shaking your misconception and condescending attitude about how others are choosing to vote (just as in the Texas forum).

Amarillo would only be considered "big" in a state like Idaho or North Dakota. You know, states that don't have any REAL cities.

The whole point of the poll function is to try to clarify what members perceptions are, whether those perceptions are accurate or not is why we post in the forum in order to clarify what we think those perceptions should be.

It is obvious through this poll and others in city vs city that the greater city data community prefers DFW to Houston by a fairly wide margin. So saying that DFW just can't have anything makes no sense what-so-ever in this context.

Why this is the case is a matter of debate, it is so obviously mistaken that even you must secretly wonder how the City-Data consensus could be so overtly biased.

I didn't say "DFW". I said FORT WORTH.

Don't always lump us in with Dallas every single page...
