Well we will see if the Texans pick Johnny Football tomorrow maybe he will bring tourism back to Houston
Just as Dallas (Arlington tax payers & Jerry Jones really) built Cowboys Stadium out of pure jealousy of Reliant Stadium having the 1st retractable roof in the NFL giving the City of Houston 2 retractable roof stadiums including Minute Maid Park.

The Astrodome in Houston was the 1st air conditioned stadium of its size.

Houston sets the standard all other cities follow when it comes to building stadiums.

Texans made the playoffs 2 years in a row in 2011 & 12.

Where do you get this crap from? They NEEDED a new stadium because Texas Stadium was old and ran down. What happened in Houston has no bearing on what Jerry wants to do with his team. I guess Houston copied Dallas getting a new basketball arena.

Yeah, I'm sure more people wanted to see a stadium instead of a world class historic, urban, walkable district dedicated to partying and having fun.

Were you there for Main Event? It looked like the streets of Manhattan.

Yeah because the Colts went dormant when Manning was gone.
