Exactly, that rendering looks like some new chic retail development you'll find in Houston or Dallas, then he follows it up with a skyline pic of buckhead as proof that its urban

That is only one part of Buckhead. Most of it is anything but "semi-rural".

How is this not urban even now?

A skyline view has nothing to do with urbanity.

And, if you were familiar with Buckhead, you would know that most of Buckhead consists of sprawling estates on huge properties on wooded lots. It's the opposite of urban.

True. The 'urban' part of Buckhead comprises about 10% of the entire district. Most of it is as you describe.

I'm not comparing Buckhead to Beverly Hills (even though I think it's a good comparison, BV still wins). But Buckhead trumps Uptown Dallas. I'll let it rest though...I know that's not the topic of this forum.

Actually only 36% of homes in BH are detached single family homes. The majority of people (63%) live in multi-unit buildings.

Well Im sorry I dont go around taking picture as much as Pwright.

I can show people on the street in my dad's home town of Perry Georgia.Do you think that will show urbanism?

Those pics posted of BH do not show how urban BH it is or not.
