I remember that The Chute had probably the best karaoke I've ever heard at a bar in my life -- gay, straight or otherwise. I racked it up to the fact that there were probably a lot of gay studio musicians / backup singers in Nashville.

And DEEP South for Jacksonville??? Not even a slight chance.
Nashville is not in the deep south, and doesn't display any of the characteristics of deep south cities. Even the accents are different. Memphis and Chattanooga are also not in the deep south, but a case could be made for them being gateway cities, especially Memphis. Jacksonville is definitely in the deep south.

I place Memphis in the Deep South since it is in the Mississippi Delta region and is even nicknamed the capital of that region. It has pretty much all of the telltale characteristics of the Deep South that one could ask for.

Absolutely false... The majority of Augustans don't even mention the PHouse and don't really care about the property...

The pride festival in Augusta expanded from 1 day in 2012 to an 2 day event in 2013... They spend close to $100,000 organizing the event in 2013 and the 2014 festival will be even larger...

Memphis is certainly deep south. It's in the delta region of Mississippi.

As a tourist out of all the cities listed, I'd be most interested in Savannah.

Uhh PH as in Parliment House is in Orlando, and only Orlando. This knock off is clearly trying to use that reputation to its advantage it seems.
