Dallas is not part of the Deep South at all. Southern Plains, sure. Not the Deep South.

Charleston is gay friendly from what I've seen in the city and heard from others. It's good that it is.

Wrong. Nobody said anything about being on Savannah's level, but Charleston *is* gay-friendly. Heck, the majority of the city's residents voted against the referendum banning gay marriage in SC several years back when public sentiment wasn't nearly as approving of gay marriage as it is now.

Yea, I wasn't bad mouthing Savannah (nor did I even mention Savannah). It's a fact that Charleston is gay-friendly.
