Which of these cities would you choose if you were:
looking for a rural fixer upper with an acre for less than 100k within an hour of the city,
Would like for there to be inexpensive things to do with the kids,
Not wanting ugly surroundings (would at least like greenery, maybe some hills, waterfalls or nice parks and gardens) not just gray city bleh.
Would like it to be reasonably safe and easy to feel 'at home' in.. So maybe some character.
Bonus points for a long, cool history with an 'old' feel
Do any of these areas fit the bill for at least some if these criteria? Which hits the mark on most?
Let me know which excels in what, and vote on the one that fits more of the description
I didn't add Greensboro, NC, but chime in if you think it should be considered..
Thanks
