I voted Salt Lake. Beautiful views of the mountains in every direction. Spring is my favorite time of year there with the green in the valley contrasting with the heavily snow capped mountains.

Boise has some great views that vary depending on which area of the city. You can have a view of the mountains on either side of the valley or views of the forested river corridor or if you live in the foothills neighborhoods you have a great view of the city and valley and the Owyhee Mountains south of the valley. There are also suburban areas outside of the valley, but still in the metro area that are in the Ponderosa Pine forest and have some truly spectacular views.

Seattle in terms of views you can get throughout the entire metro, sound views, lake views, cascade views, Olympics to the west, and Mt. Rainier.

My vote was for Seattle, based on what you could see on a clear day, as well as the other scenery that you get around town even if you can't see the mountains.
