Which city has the best fashion on its streets. You be the judge. Post pictures of stores, people, or anything with great fashion. I want to see what people think about this subject. In my opinion i think NYC is better.

What do you think the answer to this question is? Seriously?

Best fashion: NYC
Most down to earth and best casual dress: Chicago

New York City has the best fashion. Los Angeles is a distant 2nd and Chicago is an even further distant 3rd.

I think NYC is the top for fashion in this country. They dress up a lot more. In LA, people only get dressed up when they want to or need to. Otherwise, people in Southern California are happy in a T-shirt, some jeans, and sandals. We probably would win the "casual fashion" contest, but for high style and getting dressed up, NYC to me. Don't know much about Chicago fashion.

I think it depends on your taste in fashion. New Yorkers probably dress up more. But both New York and LA are probably the top places in the country for upscale shopping (i.e. Madison Avenue and Rodeo Drive). Chicago is definitely a distant third.

Dont forget ny is also home to many non upscale boutiques that in the fashion world like skateboarding clothes, goth clothes, etc Example: if you go to SoHo on broadway you will see those as well as upscale stores. I Love SoHo. Its the place where people love to shop.

For upscale, it is definitely NYC. However, for my style, being a teenager from SoCal, there is no other place in the country that can compare to LA, except San Diego and maybe Phoenix. Phoenix doesn't have lots of shopping, but the same style. I'm sure if I lived anywhere but LA, I would be voting for NYC though.

You should've included Miami before Chicago.

I didn't mention Miami or Chicago...and I didn't start this thread...

But yes, Miami does have similar fashion to what I like--the closest to it on the east coast for sure.
