Not sure how many people here are military personnel or veterans, but in your mind, which is the better military metro: Colorado Springs, CO or Virginia Beach, VA (7 cities included)? As in if you had to be stationed between the two, which would you choose?
Both are home to a large military population of various branches, both have access to outdoor activities, and both are midsized metros close to larger population centers (Denver, Richmond/DC). Which gets the nod in your opinion? Criteria is anything and everything--doesn't have to be from a strictly military perspective, though that obviously helps.

The Virginia Beach area is more than twice the size of Colorado Springs. VB is also coastal, more diverse and has a nice four season climate. That settles it for me.
