Once again, the OP is CLUELESS!

Miami is only the most diverse where Latin Americans and Islanders are concerned. Miamis Asian and African populations are far smaller than Houston, Dallas, or Atlanta. Over 1/3 of Miamis international immigrants come from one country: Cuba. Despite the large number of Mexicans in Houston and Dallas, even they don't make up 1/3 of their international immigration.

You can say Miami is the best city in the South for you. That's fine, but it's not the most diverse city in the South. It's diversity is concentrated in one or two areas.

Except COL...and weather...and job growth. Debatable categories are nightlife, higher ed, diversity, and cuisine.

A lot of people don't consider DC the south, including its natives.

But let's not even get into that debate, in my opinion miami is the best southern city

A lot of people don't consider Miami the south either, for a lot of the same reasons.

Miami isn't culturally the south, but geographically it is the southern most city which is why I chose miami

I would go with either Houston or New Orleans. I also like Nashville alot too. Personally I like cities that do there own thing and have there own identity which all three I mentioned have. Ya know cities comfortable in their own skin. I'm not really a big fan of cities that try to be like other cities.
