Southerners love the Outdoors, its one of the great pleasures of living in the South. So which southern state, in terms of natural beauty, do you prefer and why....

I find North Carolina to have a lot of diversity and beauty.

Florida. For its beaches, the vast lakes dotting the central part of the state. The cute hills from Polk county northward. The tropical trees. The Florida Keys.

I love Tennessee too. Mountains, valleys, cute towns with the court house in the center over looking a valley type of thing.

Well...I wouldn't say that I have 1 preference. I enjoy the white-sand beaches of Coastal Florida and the Carolinas, the hilly and mountainous terrain of Tennessee/Georgia/ and Arkansas...airboating through the swamps of South Louisiana while gator-hunting, limestone caves in Kentucky

...I'm in no way a fan of the South in its entirety, but there are plenty of outdoor pleasures to take in here

Arkansas will probably be sold short but I'd go with it, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

North Carolina gets my vote. From the highest mountains peaks in the East to exceptionally beautiful beaches in the Outer Banks, NC is a very beautiful state. Florida edges out NC in terms of beaches sure, though I still think OBX can rival any beach on the Eastern Seaboard. In terms of diversity, NC has the most superlative list of beautiful landscapes in the South.

Beaches FL, wins with the Gulf Coast Destin and that area the beaches are top notch. But diversity I think NC wins. Blue ridge parkway down to driving on the beach it has everything in between except a desert.

I love all theses states beauty for different reasons, none are ugly, but I do believe Arkansas and North Carolina are far more whole and complete. North Carolina mountains are the biggest and prettiest, and has a ocean to go with it. Arkansas has a ton of mountains as well, and has every landscape formation their is, besides a ocean and desert. Florida and Louisiana are almost the same, in some ways, but Florida has more man made beauty. East Tennessee and the Smokey Mountains are divine and full of awe.....and I can go on and on......I think all the southerns states pretty tho lol...
