No I agree miami is slightly better in winter, what I'm arguing is that it's not a blowout like all you guys state.

Miami...and it really isn’t close (see link below)—especially if you factor in sunbathing in swim trunks, vs showing up in a sweatshirt, at the beach and going in the ocean (without needing a wetsuit).

What bothered me more about SoCal was how deceptively chillier it could feel some days during the winter, outside a 3 day Santa Ana, than the thermometer read and how dried out and itchy my skin would get.

I spent 2-3 months in LA when I was younger and I've been to Miami around 10 times total for vacation spending anywhere from a couple of days to 2 weeks. I prefer the Miami weather. It's never really cold there even in the Winter, sometimes in LA it can be very chilly like in the 40's - low 50's.

I grew up in LA and I prefer weather in Miami on a year round basis actually. I like humid heat.

I prefer Miamis weather over LAs, and not just during the winter either, but all year round. I might be a minority here, but I prefer the tropical heat and feel of south Florida over the so-called Mediterranean climate of SoCal..
