That being said, Los Angeles also is a great place for mild winter weather, as is many other parts of the Southwestern US, like Southern Arizona. The US is just so lucky to have so many areas where winter can be escaped, from the Southwestern US, to the Gulf Coast/South Atlantic.
Brazil...larger than the continental USA and consistently warmer winters over large swaths of the country. Now, that is lucky.....

All true, however, the US still has large enough swaths of land with mild/warm winters to satisfy the people who like such weather conditions. Also, the US has better variety in its warm locations, offering not only the humid tropical/subtropical choices, like in the South, but also the desert choices in the Southwest, and the Mediterranean choices in the California coast, both which are climates not offered by Brazil. That allows the US to offer more choices for people regarding warm areas than Brazil.
Miami.. Socal gets cold during the winter.. I could walk on the beach in the midnight when I stayed in Miami last thanksgiving.. Socal on the other hand was chilly to cold during the nights in the winters when I went there several years ago..
while you were enjoying 77 F, I enjoyed 90 F, yesterday 88 F, and today 79 F, so really don't play that game with us, play it with New York or Philadelphia.
as for daylight, 46 extra minutes wont make or break it for me, 46 minutes pass by very quick, but i see what you are trying to say and i would too prefer more daylight.
Whatever...your next 10 days don't exceed 73 for the highs. Dream on that your Winter is better than Miami. Your air is dirtier. Your days and nights are colder. Your ocean is frigid. Your days are shorter. ...and yes, I grew up in California.

It's the other way around. Our highs won't drop below 72 F for the next 10 days with 80s possible by the weekend... So yeah whatever.
Some of our basin microclimates won't drop below 74 F for highs in the next 10 days, with 75 F+ temps for 8/10 days, let's not forget those lovely 80s. Like I've said before Miami is not the clear winner and doesn't blow us out. It might be the winner, but not the blow out winner.

IF someone prefers spring like weather in winter, than LA wins. But the gist of this thread (I think) is which one has warmer, beach-oriented weather in Winter and Miami is the CLEAR winner from about Dec. through March/April.
Of course, LA wins the rest of the year and by a larger margin over the summer months than does Miami in winter.
L.A-Mex like cannot handle the fact that Miami has better winter weather. It legit makes him mad, u can tell by his font lmao.
