Merry Christmas! I don't either I will however pay attention on pigging out today. Then it's to the gym in the morning for a good 4 mile run and hitting the weights. Live it up.

I notice people who probably would weigh in at 200-250 pounds (if their doctor was to weigh them) all the time, but they rarely seem to be above 6 feet tall when they do. I certainly feel as if I'm thin compared to the average person here, and I would easily get destroyed on a Football field (or in a wrestling match) against nearly all of them.
You're thin compared to the average person anywhere. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, but, at my thinnest, I was around 145 lbs and 5'9'' tall. I've probably put on about 5-7 lbs since then, but I'm still, on average, fitting into size 29 jeans in the waist. Some brands I still wear a 28.

I can only imagine how small your jean size must be. Are you one of those mythical people that actually fits into those 26 inch jeans?

Im in my late 30s and weigh 170 lbs @ 6'3" tall. When I got married I was 147 lbs. Although I gained over 25 lbs over the last 15 years.......I am still thinner than most.

Thats weird. I am ~140lb and 6ft tall, and I wear size 31/32 jeans depending on the brand. I definitely feel skinny compared to others, but hey, at least I can run up several flights of stairs without gasping for breath...

6'1 and 155 lbs....but I eat whatever I want and while I stay fairly active I don't really "exercise" a whole lot. I'd be worried I have a tapeworm but I've been that way my whole life!

I'm underweight but I live in an area that is pretty health conscious and probably under the national average rate of obesity. I don't pay that much attention to the weight of those around me though.

It's funny. When I lived in Cambridge, MA, I was about 5'10" and 190lbs. In Cambridge, and most of the inner suburbs of Boston I was definitely on the bigger side. Then I'd visit my hometown near the NH border and suddenly I was slim

5'10" 140 lbs woman in the South. I feel like a model compared to other women here. Tennessee has a serious obesity problem.

I've only lived in the city of Boston, New York, and in close-in suburbs of NY. I feel like in general, both the city of Boston in general and the areas of NYC I frequent (Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan) have lower than average levels of obesity. Almost all of the obese people in either city are seemingly lower-income and racial minorities, but I think even their populations are a lot less obese than they'd be if they'd lived somewhere else. I notice in traveling to suburban areas outside of NY, and other cities like Houston and some in Florida how much fatter the average person is.
