Practically everybody weighs more than I do at 187-188 CM/6'1.5"-6'2" (at 140 pounds) here in St. Louis, and nearly everybody weighs more than I do (unless they are like 5'1"-5'2"). I notice people who probably would weigh in at 200-250 pounds (if their doctor was to weigh them) all the time, but they rarely seem to be above 6 feet tall when they do. I certainly feel as if I'm thin compared to the average person here, and I would easily get destroyed on a Football field (or in a wrestling match) against nearly all of them.

For most of my adult life, I was 175 lbs for 6'1( which I liked btw) but last year I started Crossfit together with a friend who didnt want to do it alone, and I was able to shed another 20 lbs, so now I'm down to 150. I dont want to lose anymore tho.

And I'm pretty normal for the Bay Area, I guess.

I am 5'8 and 125 pound female living in Baton Rouge, LA. It is one of the most obese states in the nation and I get made fun of often for being "too thin" despite a healthy bmi of 19.5-20. I didn't know eating whole foods and exercising daily was so bad! Lol

Being 6 ft tall and 155 lbs, I feel like I'm skinny no matter where I go, but I don't feel that out of place with my weight around here.

There is so much misinformation about weight. You hear people say I got to lose weight. Well, that depends. When observing weight you have fat weight (what you want to target) and then there is muscle weight not counting bone or food/water weights). It's the fat weight you want to lose without losing too much muscle weight. I work out 4 days a week doing weights and cardio at the gym. My work outs average between 2-3 hours. When I run it's between 2-5 miles. I love wearing my tank tops to show off my muscles. The way I look at it. You're always going to have someone bigger and smaller than you. You will always have someone stronger and weaker or faster or slower. Just focus on being the best you can be. It depends on how far you're willing to take your level of fitness. The city your in doesn't matter as long as there is at least a gym. Ultimately it's "you" and what you're willing to do about it. Today, is my big cheat day so I'm going to eat big but I'll pay the price for it tomorrow at the gym.

People put too much emphasis on weight. The question is how much fat do you have? I'm 5'11" and weigh 193 pounds. That's probably about average around here not taking height into account. I would guess that I probably weigh a little more than the average man my height.

6'1" and 150 pounds? That's pretty waifish for a guy. You can always flex with your bank account though, right?

Oops, I'm actually 155 lbs and I think my Polynesian genes keep me looking bigger than 155, but still, I do feel like my body was more bangin' at 175. lol

Merry Christmas!

I feel thin/small compared to many people anywhere in America. I am a male, 5-9, and range between 130-140 lbs, I have to shop at euro-fashion stores like Zara to find clothes that actually fit me.
