I personally have nothing against Miami but it just doesn't do well for on those type of metrics when compared to the other top tier cities.

Top urban neighborhoods in the country with a minimum of best 2 out of 3 score of nothing less than 100 according to walkscore.com. I haven't seen one with a perfect 3 out 3 yet. walkscore/transitscore/bikescore

NYC (obviously): Little Italy, Chinatown, No Ho, SoHo, Flatiron District,
Greenwich Village

SF: Chinatown

do you have the link for that? am curious (I don't think Rittenhouse in Philly is 100 for any yet to me would about as good an urban enclave as a neighborhood as anywhere (most def a top 100 if not top 5 or 10)

seems very few places score 100 on walk score let alone transit and bike score

Rittenhouse is very close to 100 for all 3.

https://www.walkscore.com/score/ritt...-united-states

If you go by this, Rittenhouse may very well be the most balanced urban neigborhood in the entire country. 99-100-99.

Philly is a very walkable city. And I have no idea how SF feels bigger than Philly. I've been to SF and it felt the same size, which is impressive considering that Philly is much bigger.

SF's core looks a lot more dense looking from the air. Philly's structural density falls off a lot outside of the downtown area. SF has a large line of 5-8 story buildings that radiate out from the financial core which makes it feel larger. Neighborhoods like Chinatown and Tenderloin create a very big city urban environment.

Basically, it takes longer to get to the low rise 2-3 story urban neighborhoods in SF than it does in Philly.

I guess we also have to take in to consideration on how current these scores are and how often they update them since changes in population density growth, new projects, new business etc..can take place in any neighborhood over a course of time.

I wonder what the reason is for not giving that 1 extra point to make it a perfect 100 across the board.

I saw the breakdown and apparently schools are factored into walkability lol. It's what didn't give it 100 in walking lmao.

Oh well, what ever floats their boat then. I guess they don't believe a perfect walkable urban neighborhood exists in this country.
