Does the name Tom Bradley ring a bell?

Your provincialism is showing again.

Black people are an after thought in LA and have absolutely no power on the west coast period. Has LA ever even had a black mayor?

There are a few questions that always explain the reality of what people like when it comes to this discussion:

What race of women do you prefer to date?
What race is you wife or girlfriend?
What race are most of your friends?

The answers to those question really have more to do with the kind of nightlife and crowds you enjoy and that goes for us all. Let's not act like all black people are the same.

This is what you said earlier:

Based on what you said in that post, do you even count since you're an outlier? My cousin lives in LA, but he is from Baltimore and he only dates White women. He absolutely loves LA because there are so many attractive White women. They also have the best Latin and Asian women IMO too. It's just not my type though.
Tom Bradley was mayor of LA for 20 years.

You are really off base with your anaylsis

And pwight isn't an outlier you just don't know what your taking about.

Well... You got the superclub, grey stone manner, and a bunch of other clubs on Hollywood blvd. but since you know Hiphop is pretty popular in Los Angeles everybody is welcome. Do not act like an ALL black crowd makes a party any more fun.

My point exactly. There aren't any. That is what makes DC and Atlanta so unique. We actually have clubs with ALL black crowds and they are upscale and multi-floor multi-DJ mega clubs. That what happens when a metro of 6 million has more black people than a metro of 12 million. And since many black people from Baltimore prefer partying in DC because we have the black professional crowd, we actually have over 2 million black people to pull from for nightlife. People from Philly party in DC often as well and black people from NYC visit DC often and party here depending on what is going on. The east coast African American pull is unprecedented in this country and that is why the west coast will never be anything like the east coast when it comes to black people.

Yet DC has a worse black hip hop, art, acting, poetry, fashion, live music, warehouse, and comedy scene than LA.

Your really not fooling anybody with how you portray DC.

Didn't you just say they were mixed crowds? What did you mean when you said everyone was welcome? Everyone is welcome at any club, the question is, what is the makeup of the crowd? The reason most metros don't have ALL black crowds in upscale hop hop clubs is because of either two reasons. There is a lack of professional African Americans in the region, or there are a lack of black people by percentage of the total metro population.

DC has more black people than LA in the region in half the footprint and with half the total population. DC's CSA has more black people than every single region except NYC at around 2 million black people. That is how we can have ALL black professional crowds here in DC at upscale establishments. We also have mixed crowds like every other city. The difference is, black people actually have multiple options for nightlife that is dominated by people that look like them with an option to also party in mixed crowd venues too. That is what makes DC and Atlanta unique.

Where is all this black only art you're talking about in LA? Are you saying the artist is black or are you saying the audience for that artist is black? Huge difference!

So, how is that relevant? When people talk about the black art scene in places like NYC, DC, or Atlanta, they're talking about black art shows or spoken word/poetry slams etc. shows that have black audiences. You really don't get it do you?

Do you want to know why there are so many events all across this country that have only white people at them? It's because they make up the majority of this country. If you have 100 people and 90 are white and 10 are black, then you have 10 shows for them to attend and the capacity for each show is only 10 people, how many shows will have an all black crowd?

If you are able to figure that out, you will have your answer for why places like NYC, DC, and Atlanta have the ability to have mixed crowds and all black crowds at upscale venues. This is watered down even more when you actually look at the size of the educated professional black population in LA which is not large. Unfortunately, the African American population in most regions are impoverished, uneducated, and without power.
