It was approved in House and Vetoed by the Govenor 1 week after. We may not be seen as tolerant due to the people in the high rankings of the court in this state, but people are quite open minded out here. It's more diverse than what it seems.

Sure the metro black population is smaller but if half of your population in the core is minority,then that population will influence the culture of the city more.Which is exactly the point of what many of Atlanta posters have said

Agreed. I'm pretty familiar with Phoenix, and I can attest to how diverse it is despite any maps.
The neighborhoods I know are a big mix of everyone, and everyone gets along.
Whats crazy, is that when I go into the Arizona section of the forum. The people always complain about the amount of racism in AZ.

Not only that, But DMX is a crackhead, Emmitt Smith and his family have lived in the Dallas for years after his retirement, and Charles Barkley is married to a white woman. So who are they to use as examples of why Arizona is allegedly some kind of Utopia for Black folks? plus, for the most part, celebrities are going to get better treatment than everyday black people anyway, even if they go to a state as white as North Dakota.

How is it untrue? Atlanta was at 1.7 million at the census in 2010. For it to get to 2 million like somebody said it did, the black growth has to be over 200k. And to think nobody from Atlanta moved out?

I don't know why you have such a hard time accepting official census records.
And FYR, a lot of blacks move to Atlanta. It's crazy, but practically the entire city of Detroit is relocating to Atlanta. Chicago is not far behind. Not to mention births, as already pointed out.
