As someone else mentioned, Miami is the type of place where I would want to go out maybe once of twice a year and then I would be sick of it. New Orleans and NYC are the types of cities where I would like to go out over and over again. Miami is very over priced, over hyped and overrated compared to other cities, imo.
I would never get sick of Vegas. I might die or go broke, sure, but I would never grow tired of it. I will never get tired of a very high concentration of hot women.

There have been nights here in Miami Beach I spent just that on one night and I'm small fry in this regard. I know people who regularly blow 50k on one night here. At my favorite place, just one bottle of grey goose with orange juice and cranberry juice, is 1000USD. If you're poor and a guy you can't really enjoy our nightlife.
Funny you say that...I've always thought Miami was pretty reasonable. You can have a good time at Mansion by paying just a $20 cover charge. I've never thought table service in Miami was worth it. I wouldn't advise guys to do it.

Vegas, on the other hand, is a different story. I strongly recommend V.I.P./table service for any weekend night you plan on spending in a club.

I don't know where you go in Miami, but Miami is more expensive than Vegas for entry by my experience going to Vegas when I lived in California. The good clubs here charge at least 80USD to let you in, and there are no lines here. It's up to bouncer discretion if you're coming in or not.

I wouldn't even pay $80 for admission to Karu & Y during its peak years (07-08). I don't think I've ever paid more than $20 for general admission in Miami.

In Vegas, general admission to Omnia, Hakkasan, Marquee, Drai's, etc. is probably around $40. That's just a guess because I would never do general admission in Vegas. You will end up feeling like a clown. Bottle service there is much more of a "show" than it is in Miami.

I think they definitely have their own local scene but the average tourist doesn't see it.
Yeah-we went out one night before dinner to Dino's Lounge in Vegas, which is very local/divey. Cool place though.

You didn't go to any of the good clubs, or you went on a day they had nothing scheduled. Liv tomorrow (wednesday) is 75$ USD for males, and 40$ USD for females. On Thursday it's 250USD for males, and 125$ for females. And that's one club and real prices right now.

That's actually not a bad look if you want to take it easy and save a little money. But then again, I've never wanted to go to Vegas and take it easy. You kinda have to go out there with the mindset that you're going to spend $1,000 or more on clubbing.

Huh? Karu & Y was the club. Fat Joe's video for "I Won't Tell" was shot in Karu & Y.

Didn't go to any of the good clubs. That's funny.

Why bottle service is a must in Vegas.

I don't know what you paid, but I'm telling you that most of the premiere clubs here at Miami Beach, you're lucky if you pay 80 USD, and that's a Wednesday. 250USD for entry on a Thursday is actually typical when the club has a reason to be open and is not just vegetating.

When I go to clubs here, I pay 1000USD to just enter and have my grey goose right away. To many people spending that kind of money may seem ridiculous but it's Miami .
