that list is probably about the entire Bay area rather than the city of San Francisco.
It is funny they always talk about the city proper in the context of density/vibrancy/transportation pretending South/East Bay is no part of the discussion. Then everything else, they drag the entire bay area with it.

Yeah, no doubt there is a lot of wealth in San Francisco proper, but I'm betting the majority of that wealth is due to Silicon Valley. Not exactly the same "set" as L.A.

Yes definitely, LA is no longer the powerhouse it once was, the Bay is solidly the primary city of CA.
I said Chicago, because LA's high end stuff isnt really found in LA, but rather its burbs. For luxury shopping within city limits, Id say Chicago, followed closely by Miami. They might be tied, actually, lots of high end stuff in both Chicago and Miami. Chicago's seems mostly centered right downtown, which is convenient. Miami's is more spread out, but still lots of options.
Philadelphia has better entertainment and cuisine than New York. Recently a lot of luxury retail has been coming to Center City so in 5-10 years Philly will surpass New York in shopping as well.

What the what. This is a joke right lol ..... It won't ever I mean philly doesn't even have a lot of the luxury stores Miami Dallas And Atlanta has. I can name plenty of luxury stores in those 3 cities that can't be found in Philly
Let alone trying to compete with all of NY luxury flagship store offerings

And Camden, NJ has better entertainment and cuisine than Philly. In 5-10 years, Camden will surpass Philly in shopping as well.
The question is where they spend it. Laa Vegas easily takes them all but NYC...
It is that 10% that Vegas gets from everywhere that does it.
