I am moving to London in just 3 months for graduate school (finished bachelors 2-3 years ago but have worked in software development since finishing undergrad). Will be there for a couple of years and then will move to Tokyo immediately afterwards with a program that I will be apart of. A few years there in Japan, then plan on being back in the United States in Miami from that point onwards until old/grey hair days (unless I volunteer for the Peace Corps). Before retiring, I want to live somewhere in either Africa or Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Burma) apart of the Peace Corps program for a few years. I don't plan on marrying or having a family and largely to dedicate a few years of my life helping people personally in less developed parts of the world. It is a personal goal.
At that point after I get old, probably one of those western cities that I like so much; San Diego, Tucson, Denver, Austin, Seattle, Honolulu, or Portland.
Always wanted to try out New York, Hong Kong, or Tel-Aviv, a lot, but cant see how any of the three can get into the plans at any point. Visits will have to do.
I'm not tied down at all. I can move anywhere in the US. It's more a matter of money and having a proper job in that area. NYC is definitely my dream city though, so I'd go there.
I responded to the title of the thread, so shoot me lol
Apparently I'm not the only one to have responded in this fashion, either.
