Well obviously but considering what a positive reputation it has as a "tropical paradise" it likely could be higher if it was closer/less isolated and cheaper.

I've been to San Juan. It's a nice enough city for a vacation. But come on, what motivation would most Americans have to relocate and live there?

If you're very interested in Puerto Rican culture, then I guess you might want to live there.
