Washington vs Idaho - More Self Employment Friendly? (state, better, taxes)

which state would someone self employed pay less in business and personal income taxes?


On the Idaho forum everyone says Idaho is much more business friendly but then I search online and find WA doesnt have a personal income tax vs Idaho's 7.4%.


S corp, LLC, sole proprietor or partnership is all pass through income... that being the case wouldnt it be better to open a business in WA vs ID?

If thats true why are tons of businesses leaving both OR and WA for Idaho?
