Hello,
I'm 50 yrs, 3 kids (9, 14 and 19). I live in Ecuador, South America and I am in the process to negotiate a franchise business in the USA and take my family to the USA with me.

I've chosen Austin, Sacramento, Denver and Raleigh based on some similarities in terms of size mainly.

Any hints?

Denver. Unless you're in Tech or higher education, I wouldn't really go with Raleigh or Austin.

Thanks Ant,
Why would you avoid Raleigh or Austin?
Have you lived in any of those cities before?

Austin, Denver, and Sacramento all have good sized Hispanic communities that are much larger than Raleigh. That said Raleigh is a great city and very pretty.

Sacramento and Denver are pretty pricey compared to Austin and Raleigh.

Isn't the cost of living going up in Austin and Raleigh too?

Cost of living in Austin is extremely high for Texas. Austin itself seems to be trying to catch up with CA on home prices and in turn it's pushing up the prices in the surrounding areas. Traffic is a nightmare as well. Apparently much much worse than when we were there 13 years ago and it was miserable then.

As for Raleigh, when we were there 4 years ago I was not comfortable with the way I saw Hispanics treated. We were just outside of Raleigh slightly southwest and it did seem when I wandered up to north Raleigh it was much more diverse. If you're thinking its a southern problem it wasn't- almost everyone where I lived had relocated from NY, NJ or MA. I'm not Hispanic but coming from San Antonio it was very noticeable even not directed toward me. Hopefully things have improved since we moved back to Texas there.

You probably are alright in all of those places as a Hispanic.

COL is probably gonna be cheapest in Raleigh followed by Austin, and best places to start a small business probably best in Austin followed by Raleigh. Research some of the pros and cons to the small business environments in those cities...I'd imagine you'll find some good info to help guide you.

Denver out of all. Sizable Hispanic population booming economy.Getting expensive from what I heard.Hope you like snow
Sacramento is terribly expensive.
Raleigh Durham is cheap and is booming.Nice city to raise a family.Best value out of all of them.
Austin is good just not my cup of tea but you cant go wrong with it either.Spanish will be easier to be spoken

Id go with Denver or Raleigh. Both are great choices,I hate snow so my vote goes to Raleigh
