I voted for San Francisco. I'm not so sure now. New Orleans is an odd place. Either way, I'll stick with SF. I mean people take their children to "parades" to watch naked men walk down the street. I'm a fairly libertarian fella, but that's just strange.

New Orleans ... we have voodoo and vampire communities. For gods sake we even passed city ordinances saying people can't practice voodoo and can't drink blood ... apparently that was a problem here at some point.

Miami too ... because we get a lot of people who visistay from there and go back between the winter and spring / fall months, and they're pretty out there from what I've seen.

If you're talking about an area with the weirdest criminals I'd say the entire state of Florida.

Venice, Skid Row, and Downtown Hollywood are three great representatives for Los Angeles' weird side.

If Hollywood was on here, it would get my vote. But for this poll I chose Portland.

Really? To me, Hollywood is more of the manufactured weirdness you see in places like Austin and Portland and etc., though there are definitely remnants wandering around...

The Pacific Northwest and NorCal. Admittedly I haven't been to Florida, but from what I hear, the PNW has the weirdest and most mysterious crimes and suicides. Everything is haunted by sasquatch. Even the landscape, the cold gloomy rainforests, are far more weird than your average Florida pine forest.

Sedona, Arizona and the Flagstaff area.

For those who have been there, you know what I mean...

As for some of these cities like SF, it's kind of implied that if you are really weird, you live outside of the norms of society and societal rules, and if you did that, it would be just about impossible to live in a city like that unless your weirdness was 'corporate', if that makes any sense. It's too darn expensive. That's part of the shame of what these cities have become.
