Pizza in Texas and Oklahoma is hot garbage. They should stick to Tex-Mex and BBQ.

Texas actually has some decent local pizza eateries.

Texas pizza? Is this a joke? I love both Dallas & Austin, but I will stick to bbq and Mexican when there. I also respect Texas steaks.

The answer for pizza is NY.

Ppl that say Texas just has Tex Mex and BBQ. Can't be taken seriously. Not saying Texas has the best food in general. But the Texas local cuisine is much more diverse than " BBQ and Tex Mex".

Mrs. Ortiz, my 5th grade English teacher, told me to never end a sentence with a preposition.

From today, best pizza in America: Pizzeria Beddia in Philadelphia: The Best Pizza in America - Bon Appétit

I would go with NJ though. People who grow up with jersey pizza are much more open to trying other types of pies compared to CT people who swear by their thin crust. Both are pretty awesome and the best imo

The best state to eat pizza in is ALL OF THEM!!! PIZZA IS DELICIOUS!

Remember! OP asked what state is best to eat pizza in; not in which state to attain the best pizza. :P

No order but New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Those states sound terrible for pizza, although Texas could have some spots in its cities

I would assume as well, but having been to Tulsa, I can safely say there is some excellent pizza to be had. Don't know if they first come to mind when thinking of pizza though...
