I did a poll of 10 cities. What city out of those is most friendly when compared to Los Angeles?

How can a city be any more or less friendly than it normally is "when compared to Los Angeles"?

Minneapolis is most friendly. I wouldn't pick any of the others as friendly.

How is somewhere like Raleigh not friendly? Even a few of the other cities on the list I would say have friendly people.

Stereotypically people regard LA (or really the whole state of CA) as friendly. I tend to find people more approachable than in NYC but I wouldn't call LA a friendly city overall.

But compared to other cities on the list (Hartford, Raleigh etc) LA is friendlier no doubt.

Yeah LA doesn't really have a reputation for being rude, so the OP isn't in the wrong place for that.

I don't consider LA particularly friendly, and I don't understand the OP at all...several of the cities above I would consider more friendly, overall, than LA.

The phrasing makes no sense. You don't need to include "compared to Los Angeles" for the poll. Just ask which city is the friendliest.

Or change it to something like "Are any of these cities friendlier than Los Angeles?" and allow participants to check off more than one box.

But, how else could the OP invite others to dump on Los Angeles?
