This thread is different from the one you started earlier on foreign born populations. It was only US cities, now you have included Canada. Where did that thread go?

I think it's interesting how well Washington does, it's more diverse than people give it credit for. But virtually all of its diversity in the suburbs, the District itself isn't that diverse.

I am surprised Houston doesn't make top 10, since people are always selling its diversity and it's one of America's most populous metros.

I also expected more Europeans in the Bay Area, but perhaps they don't have enough of a mass.

Did a few more metros and Houston would be in the top 10.
