Live in Minneapolis, but spend a lot of time in Denver. Gotta go with Minneapolis. I like the diversity Minneapolis and St. Paul has to offer in terms of people, food, local music scene, etc... Denver is attracting A LOT of douchey people, which I can't stomach. Plus the COL in Denver is kinda ridiculous for being so remote.

Whenever I see an article about rent prices or housing prices in the US Minneapolis is always right above Denver

Denver's food scene is fine. It's not great, but it's not bad either.
What's so bad about it? I agree that it's pretty generic and that it may not be up to par with what it should be, but it's not like the food is gross or anything

I am not saying the food is gross. Just not a very good scene.
I mean really, when you think of Denver cuisine what pops in your head? Pot brownies?
At least with Minneapolis I think cheese curds, brats, etc.
Tough because they are pretty alike if you ask me.
But I guess Denver because it's closer to the west and it's warmer than Minneapolis is.
Yea both these metros are basically the same.
It's kind of like comparing Milwaukee and Cleveland
