So I was trying to narrow it down to luxury brands that people lust after. LOL. And I found this unscientific yet very telling ranking...

Quote:
10 Most Popular Luxury Brands
by Instagram Followers

1 Louis Vuitton
2 Chanel
3 Christian Louboutin
4 Dolce & Gabbana
5 Gucci
6 Dior
7 Prada
8 Burberry
9 Valentino
10 BMW

Top 10 Most Popular Luxury Brands On Instagram: H1 2015 - Luxury Society - Digital
So I looked at all the brands on page 1 on this thread and the most selective brand based on list of stores is Christian Louboutin and BMW is the most ubiquitous.

Only 5 Cities in the United States had 10 out of 10 stand alone boutiques/ stores of these brands:
- New York
- Los Angeles
- Miami
- San Francisco
- Las Vegas

Albuquerque's Coach store closed in October of last year. However, we do have a Michael Kors location that wasn't included in the OP, which may have erroneously been attributed to Santa Fe since there is no Michael Kors location in Santa Fe. Also, for Santa Fe, the Ralph Lauren location is an outlet store. The Eileen Fisher location is in downtown Santa Fe near the Plaza.

Albuquerque doesn't have much high-end shopping even compared to a place like Tucson. For Tucson, being that it's a resort city, I think that the tourism factor plays a big part there.

3. Miami

4. SF
5. Vegas
6. Chicago
7. Dallas
8. Boston
9. DC
10. Houston

Perfect!

Agreed, I wouldn't put Boston above DC.

Just as an example, Merkley Kendrick jewelers here is a very big Rolex dealer, and they have a whole room with several cases full of new Rolexes. That is about the only watch they sell there.
I wont be counting Louisville for Rolex because it does not have an authorized Rolex store.

If it is not a standalone store and/or boutique and/or authorized store from that brand then it does not belong here in this thread. No exceptions for any city.

Especially considering there are multiple locations of some of these stores within 1.5 miles of each other too. Honolulu is probably the most impressive metro for a lot of things, such as this, for any metro under 3-4 million imo.

Yea but like Las Vegas, most of that stuff is geared towards tourists.

NYC, LA, SF are all huge because there are a crap ton of rich people who live there.
